Meet the 2023 Honda Passport

Engine and Capabilities

The 2023 Passport is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 280 horsepower alongside 262 pound-feet of torque. This gives the vehicle quick takeoffs and enough strength to haul up to 5,000 pounds when properly equipped.

The vehicle’s all-wheel-drive system automatically adjusts traction, so you don’t have to do anything when hitting the trails; but if you’d like more control, there’s also the Intelligent Traction Management System, which lets you choose between four different driving modes (Normal, Mud, Snow and Sand) at any time.

Comfort and Convenience

With seating for five passengers, the Passport’s cabin can accommodate a whole family or group of friends and features a 60/40 seat in the rear of the vehicle that can be quickly folded down with the push of a button. Along with leather trim and a heating setting, the front seats offer both memory and 10-way power adjustment on the driver’s side and four-way power adjustment on the passenger’s side.

There are also plenty of areas to store cargo, including underfloor storage compartments in the rear of the vehicle, and you can easily secure it by using the standard tie-down anchors and cargo area bag hooks.

Cutting-Edge Technology

Front and center in the cabin within a close arm’s reach from the driver’s seat is an advanced infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen display, which combines entertainment, vehicle preference settings, available navigation assistance, and both Apple and Android compatibility.

While most models come with a 215-watt seven-speaker audio system with a subwoofer, there’s also an available 540-watt 10-speaker system that comes standard in Elite models, and both systems come pared with speed-sensitive volume compensation, which helps to maintain audio clarity at higher speeds.

Smart Safety Monitoring

A wide array of sophisticated safety and driver-assist features come standard with the Passport, including Adaptive Cruise Control, which can both slow down and accelerate the vehicle as needed to keep you a safe distance away from other vehicles while maintaining a pre-selected speed whenever possible.

If you’re driving at night with your high beams on and another vehicle starts to approach yours in the opposite lane, the Auto High-Beam Headlights can then switch to low beams until the vehicle has passed.

Thanks to its reliable performance, luxurious cabin, and a wide array of impressive tech and safety features, the 2023 Passport offers something for just about everyone. After taking it for a test drive, we know you’ll love this SUV, so come visit us today and experience it for yourself at Honda of New Rochelle.
