The rugged 2024 Honda Passport strikes a rare balance between adventurous excitement and plush comfort. The fact that each trim in the Passport’s lineup is filled to the brim with high-quality features and specs allows the newest Honda to distinguish itself from its countless rivals in the ever-popular mid-sized SUV class.

Dependable and Versatile Engine Specs

The newest Passport’s base model EX-L features 280 horsepower and 262 lb.-ft. of torque, and these impressive numbers are achieved through the SUV’s 24-valve i-VTEC SOHC six-cylinder engine. Each trim of the 2024 Passport includes an Intelligent Traction Management System with Snow, Mud, and Sand modes. Snow will prevent your wheels from slipping when you hit the throttle, Mud focuses on maintaining your momentum on soft terrain, and Sand increases torque and throttle response.

All three available trim options include the Eco Assist System to help the SUV achieve its highway MPG of 24, Variable Cylinder Management to increase fuel economy by strategically deactivating certain cylinders, the Active Control Engine Mount System that’s responsible for the Passport’s unbeatable smooth and quiet ride, and the Intelligent Variable Torque Management all-wheel-drive system to maximize tire grip by selectively distributing torque to the tires that have the most traction.

Comfy and Convenient Cabin Amenities

The mid-sized SUV has leather-trimmed seating for five people and heated front seats. The 60-40 connected bench that serves as the back seat includes a One-Touch Fold feature, so you can easily increase your cargo space. The cabin has a tri-zone automatic climate control system as well as a rearview mirror with automatic dimming capabilities. All trims come with the most updated Bluetooth connection capabilities, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, and automatic speed-sensitive volume adjustments.

The EX-L and TrailSport trims are equipped with a seven-speaker 215-watt audio system with a subwoofer, while the Black Edition upgrades to a ten-speaker 540-watt sound system with a subwoofer. While all trims come with the HondaLink program for quick and easy smartphone integration, the Black Edition’s HondaLink includes a satellite-connected navigation system, an updated voice recognition system, and the Honda HD Digital Traffic program.

Honda Sensing Safety Systems for You and Your Loved Ones

All three trim levels offer a large bundle of standard safety features designed to anticipate and protect from all dangerous road situations. The Lane Keeping Assist and Departure Warning systems will keep you inside the painted lines, the Forward Collision Warning and Mitigation Braking systems will keep you protected from the most common collision types, the Blind Spot Information System will help you make lane-changing maneuvers safely, and the front/rear Parking Sensors take the guesswork out of parking.
