2023 Honda Accord
The Honda Accord is a top choice for midsize sedan drivers. They love it for the spacious cabin, easy driving manners, and reliability. For the 2023 model year, the Accord receives a complete redesign, entering its 11th generation. It has a new exterior look, updates in the cabin, new technology, and a revised engine lineup. Here's a look at what you can get with the next-generation 2023 Honda Accord.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The entry-level Accord LX starts the lineup with 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, and power-adjustable exterior side mirrors. Step up to the EX for Pewter Gray alloy wheels and a power sunroof, or make another bump to the Sport for 19-inch gloss black alloy wheels, black mirror caps, and a black rear spoiler. The EX-L builds on the EX with 17-inch Pewter Gray wheels, while the Sport-L has 19-inch matte black alloy wheels and a black rear diffuser. The Touring is the top-level Accord. It comes with silver and black exterior trim elements and gloss-black 19-inch wheels.
Engine (Power)
The LX and EX models get power from a 1.5-liter turbo four-cylinder gas engine that puts out 192 horsepower. These use a continuously variable automatic transmission and come with front-wheel drive. The rest of the lineup uses a hybrid setup with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gas engine and two electric motors that combine to generate 204 horsepower. This powertrain also comes with front-wheel drive and uses a continuously variable automatic transmission.
Performance
The Accord's new hybrid powertrain is smooth, efficient, and quick. Honda retuned the suspension for all models to improve handling and ride quality. This, combined with the responsive steering and minimal body roll around corners, makes the Accord a pleasure to drive and ride in. Choose the Sport for two additional drive modes. You can choose from Sport and Individual to enhance your driving experience.
Interior
There's room for five in the Accord. It comes standard with cloth upholstery and manually adjustable front seats. The EX adds heated front seats and a power-adjustable driver's seat, while the Sport has a leather-wrapped steering wheel. If you step up to the EX-L, you'll get leather upholstery and a power-adjustable passenger seat, while the Touring adds heated and ventilated front seats. Technology in the Accord starts with a 7-inch touchscreen, HondaLink, and two USB-C ports, but a bump to the Sport gets you a 12.3-inch color touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety Features
Every 2023 Honda Accord comes with the latest Honda Sensing suite of advanced driver aids. It includes forward collision warning, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and automatic braking. This bundle also comes with adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow, automatic high-beam headlights, traffic sign recognition, lane-keep assist, and traffic-jam assist. The EX-L adds front and rear parking sensors, and the Touring adds to the list of safety systems with low-speed automatic braking and rear emergency braking. A head-up display is also available for select trims, providing the driver with important information on the windshield right at eye level.
