2023 Honda Ridgeline vs 2023 Nissan Frontier

Overview

Midsize trucks have many of the same features as their larger counterparts but are smaller and easier to maneuver. Compare the 2023 Honda Ridgeline and the 2023 Nissan Frontier to help you choose your next pickup truck.

Interior

Two cab sizes are available for the Nissan Frontier: a four-passenger King Cab with 85.6 cubic feet of passenger capacity and a five-seat Crew Cab with 100.1 cubic feet of passenger space. The Honda Ridgeline offers an SUV-size interior with an impressive 109.7 cubic feet of passenger capacity, the roomiest in the class. With three-zone climate control and additional USB outlets for your back passengers on every trim, the 2023 Honda Ridgeline keeps you comfy when it comes to cabin features, too. The Honda has seven speakers and a subwoofer as standard audio equipment, while the Frontier starts with four basic speakers. Additionally, the Frontier only has a 7-inch touchscreen, but the new Ridgeline features a standard 8-inch touchscreen display.

Safety Features

Honda incorporates many safety features on its truck, as does Nissan for the Frontier, but several more features are available on the Ridgeline. The Honda truck incorporates a three-view rearview camera, an invaluable tool for parking. Other standard features include lane-keeping assistance and the Honda Road Departure system. Every Ridgeline model even includes adaptive cruise control, which is only optional on certain Nissan Frontier trims. Finally, by opening to the side or downward, the Dual-Action Tailgate makes loading and unloading the Ridgeline's bed easier and safer. With all of its interior benefits and safety features, the 2023 Honda Ridgeline is certainly the truck you should put first on your shopping list.
