2023 Honda CR-V
The 2023 Honda CR-V is a dynamic SUV perfect for work and play. On top of its powerful performance and rugged capabilities, the CR-V gives you a spacious cabin full of comfort and convenience features. You can also take advantage of innovative safety technology, and you'll love turning heads with the CR-V's exterior, which gets a makeover for the 2023 model year.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Honda CR-V has a longer wheelbase and wider stance than previous versions, giving it an aggressive yet elegant stance. On the EX, this distinctive design gets a boost from full LED headlamps and intricately designed alloy wheels measuring 18 inches. On the Sport Hybrid, you'll find sleek roof rails and dual exhaust finishers with a chrome finish. With the EX-L, you can take advantage of a power-deployable tailgate, while the Sport Touring Hybrid's tailgate offers hands-free access. This top trim also features gloss-black alloy wheels measuring 19 inches. Captivating colors like Urban Gray, Still Night, and Radiant Red add the perfect finishing touch.
Engine (Power)
Pop open the EX's hood, and you'll find a 190-horsepower, in-line four-cylinder engine that generates 179 pound-feet of torque. This engine also features in the EX-L.
The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid come equipped with a 145-horsepower, in-line four-cylinder engine that puts out 179 pound-feet of torque. An electric motor also features in these models, generating 181 horsepower and 247 pound-feet of torque. Together, the four-cylinder engine and electric motor produce 204 horsepower. While the Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid combine power and hybrid efficiency, the EX and EX-L are also quite efficient, thanks to Honda's innovative fuel-saving technology.
Performance
With the 2023 CR-V, you'll enjoy smooth acceleration and straightforward handling each time you take the wheel, thanks to the continuously variable transmission (CVT) that features in the EX and EX-L. The Sport Hybrid and Sport Touring Hybrid feature an electronic CVT that enables the same capabilities while adding B-Range shift and deceleration selectors. Lower trim levels come equipped with a two-wheel-drive system that makes it easy to zip around busy city streets and conquer tight corners. With the Sport Touring Hybrid, you'll enjoy a real-time all-wheel-drive system that can automatically adjust torque for all four wheels, based on changes in terrain and weather.
Interior
In addition to an exterior makeover, the CR-V gets an interior refresh with a minimalist layout and expansive sightlines, giving you a greater connection to your surroundings. The CR-V also gets an expanded cargo area and brand-new body-stabilizing front seats. Depending on which trim level you choose, you'll enjoy such amenities as luxurious leather upholstery, a power-operated driver's seat with 10-way adjustability, and a premium sound system from Bose. Every CR-V comes equipped with a smartphone-compatible infotainment system.
Safety Features
The 2023 Honda CR-V protects your most precious cargo with a collision mitigation braking system that issues audio and visual warnings when it senses an imminent collision. The system will apply the brakes if you can't react in time. A road departure mitigation system prevents unintentional drifting, while a blind-spot monitor helps you make safer lane changes. You can also take advantage of a cross-traffic monitor that makes it safer to drive in reverse.
