Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Civic's narrow upper grille has the Honda symbol in the center. There's also a larger lower grille and another Honda emblem on the back. This vehicle comes with angular automatic headlights, a sculpted hood, and sculpted sides as well. You can choose Sport, EX, or Touring trim levels. The base Sport includes LED headlights, angular LED taillights, power side mirrors, chrome exhaust, 18-inch wheels, all-season tires, and a compact spare tire.
With the EX and Touring, you'll get a power moonroof and heated side mirrors. The EX trim uses 17-inch wheels, and the Touring has rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED fog lights, and turn signals for the side mirrors. Available colors include Lunar Silver Metallic, Aegean Blue Metallic, Rallye Red, Crystal Black Pearl, Morning Mist Metallic, Meteorite Gray Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Sonic Gray Pearl.
Engine (Power)
With the Sport trim, a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine offers 158 horsepower and 138 pound-feet of torque. Other trim levels have a turbocharged version that produces 180 horsepower and 177 pound-feet of torque. Both options use a continuously variable transmission, and an idle-stop system turns off the engine when you stop in traffic to prevent idling. It restarts automatically when you use the accelerator.
Performance
The 2023 Civic sedan is fun-to-drive and maneuverable. It comes with a sport-tuned independent suspension and responsive power steering with paddle shifters. You can select normal, sport, or ECON driving modes.
