Our car lease was expiring and my husband and I were car shopping. After visiting several dealerships we finally went to Honda of New Rochelle. Our salesman Chris Paranzino was a pleasure to work with. We left the dealership and felt good about the car and salesman and made an immediate decision to go with Honda. A dealership can offer a great car but if the customer does not feel comfortable with the salesperson a deal will not be made. Honda offered a great combination of car and salesman. We will revisit Honda of New Rochelle and Mr. Paranzino and the end of this lease.

First of all we love our 2009 Honda Accord. It is all that I expected and more. My salesman, Noel Samuels,went beyond the call of duty and cannot tell you how accomodating and nice he was to us. He drove us to Ihop because the weather was raining and horrid and we had to wait for the finance guy to come in, he then drove us to my daughters job so that she could so-sign the paperwork and basically held our hand throughout the process. (This was my first car so I had no idea of what to do.) I cannot remember the finance guy's name but he also was patient and very nice. As a matter of fact, everyone there were friendly. With that said, the only complaint that I had was the wait to get the paperwork done to close the sale. (If not for the wait I would have given them 5 stars). I went on a Sunday 11:15 AM, picked out the car and waited for 2 hours for finances to be processed etc. After about 2 1/2 hours I told them that I had to come back the next day. Went back the next day at 9:30 and closed around 2:00. Hooray! They explained however, that it takes longer on a Sunday since it is hard to get information. Based on my experience...I will tell anyone to go to Honda New Rochelle. They are quality people.

I has happy with the dealer servicing. I was not happy with a problem that came from the Honda design itself. My orange warning light went on. I took it into the dealer. I had read the instruction book which said it could be one of many things including a loose gas cap. I was able to make the cap tighter. The instruction book also warned that it could take days for the light to go off. The service department did the whole battery of tests ($125 plus) and confirmed that it was the loose gas cap. Could I have waited a few days to bring the car in? No. Because we had to rule out more serious problems that could have ruined the car. Bottom line. 1. There must be a better way to warn of a loose gas cap than a system that requires an expensive series of tests. 2. I appreciate the service department's honesty. They could have lied and claimed they found more serious problem. 3. Honda needs to find a better way to warn about a loose gas cap.
